visual learning makes it easy for a student like myself. visual learning is a process where any topic, demostration or even project is taught visually. People who feel that visual learning is best for them would say that they feel more confrontable learning while watching whatever is being taught. Visual learning is demostrated right in front of students. For example being taught a math problem can be written on the board and written out step by step that is a way of visual learning. Everybody is not the same though so while i may be more confrontable learning visually someone else may feel confrontable learning another way .

class response

the test we took yesterday was easy. I didn't have no problem with the test I actually think I passed it. I knew the words like haggard and other words. Thinking that I passed because I studied help me a lot 

Passion

Passion. I don't really understand what passion is but i know that everybody has a passion to do something to be something. Could passion be something someone strives for? could it be something that is reachable. Hard work fits in a category of passion for me. A lot of people probably don't understand how i motivate myself. That's my passion to be better than ever i guess that can be my passion right ?!

The semester is almost over i haven't gotten any letters warning me about not graduating. That makes me feel a little better. As long as i keep my grades up in the 2nd semester I am going to see graduation. My goal is to make everyone proud. My hard work has payed off. Lately I have been going through life with a quote Kevin Durant had said which is "Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work". Kevin uses this motivational quote for basketball only. I use the quote for basketball, school work and everything that i have to lead myself to motivate myself. At times i find myself getting tired ready to give up but i am not the same person i was last year. Last year i would consider myself someone who was quick to give up and when i did give up i had a excuse for why i gave up. Now, i never try to give myself lead way to quit. No excuses nothing but hard work and dedication. I am prepared for life after high school and won't let myself seem like a failure to no one. I finally feel that i have matured.

In my math class I have improved this semester from being a 78 student to going up to a 88 average student in my math class. I have turned in all assignments passed all my test, and completed all my homework. Mr. rich told me that i'm the only student in my class that has handed in all my assignments. This is something i'm trying to keep up to make my coach's off my back. I don't want to fail off because if I do i won't be able to play. So as long as i'm passing all my classes with a 70 and above then i'm going to be in a terrific position to stay on the team all season.

Annotation idea

This week in class we have been annotating a chunk of the book we've been reading for the past 2weeks. I honestly feel so bored but the annotating because it stops us from continuing with the book. I would rather read the book and take a quiz on it every day. Annotating it takes forever and not only that I feel like it's a waist of time. I know it's preparing us form textual evidence during our Socratic seminar but I think if we have to do annotating it should be based on what we think as individuals rather than as a group. I think by us sharing ideas it will affect the Socratic seminar because then a lot of people won't talk but they would rather listen and just use words like I agree and they can't be punished for it because we all as a class have the same annotations and the same ideas, but maybe it's just me .
